The reliefs on the ring commemorate Manchester City's incredible Champions League journey

Manchester City's journey through the Champions League began in June 2022 when they traveled to Sevilla, the spanish city famous for the flamenco dance, to face FC Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

The following month, Manchester City traveled to Copenhagen to play against the FC Copenhagen. The match was played at Parken Stadium and you might have also seen the famous Statue of the little mermaid whilst you where in Copenhagen.

In October 2022, Manchester City then traveled to Dortmund to face Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park. Have you visited the former brewery building called The Dortmund U vwhilst you have been there?

In February 2023, Manchester City came to Leipzig, a German city known for its historical buildings such as the Panometer, to face RB Leipzig. The match was played at the Red Bull Arena.

In April 2023, Manchester City traveled to Munich to face Bayern Munich. The match was played in the Allianz Arena, and in the beautiful old town of Munich you might have visited the famous Isartor.

In May 2023, Manchester City went to Madrid to face Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. One of the must-see highlights in Madrid is the statue Oso y el Madrono at Puerta del Sol. 

The final of the Champions League was played in Istanbul, Turkey, on June 10, 2023. Manchester City faced Inter Milan, and the match was played at the Ataturk-Stadion. Have you had the chance to visit the famous Hagia Sophia whilst you have been there?
